On Saturday the 19th of November, Bristol is about to get very tasty.
There’s no denying that Bristol is fast becoming the pizza mecca of the South West, and hot off the back of this trend Bristol’s leading food and drinks events company, Foozie, is hosting the city’s first ever Pizza, Beer & Fizz festival on Saturday 19th November.
Hosted at The Old Fire Station, the Bristol Pizza, Beer & Fizz festival will bring together the holy trinity of the foodie world: pizza, craft beer and cider, and Prosecco, for a one-off all day celebration of food, drink and music for the people of Bristol and beyond.
Pizzas will be provided by five of Bristol’s best loved pizza traders, who’ll be cooking up their finest creations in The Old Fire Station’s courtyard, allowing festival goers to try a variety of slices, as well as a specially created ‘Bristol’ special. They’ll be joined by some of the city’s most exciting independent breweries who’ll be ensuring the bar is well stocked with a great range of craft beers, whilst those wanting something a little fancier can enjoy a glass or two of Italian Prosecco from Bristol based Betty, the pink Prosecco van!

Bristol is thoroughly spoilt for choice when it comes to delicious, independent pizza joints and for the Bristol Pizza, Beer & Fizz Festival, Foozie will be bringing some the best of them together, giving festival goers a unique opportunity to try them all. Traders who’ll be joining the pizza line up will be:
We all know what it’s like when you go to an event with so many options, you want to try it all but can stomach or afford a full dish from each. So Foozie has created Pizza Tokens. Guests can buy four pizza tokens with their entry ticket, which can then be exchanged for quarter of a pizza from any of the trader. Pizza tokens will only be available to buy with your ticket in advance, but you will be able to buy whole pizzas from all of the traders on the day.
Tickets and Pizza Tokens can be bought online at www.foozie.co.uk and feature two different ticket types. Those wanting to pre-book their pizza tokens can buy entry plus four pizza tokens for £14 whilst those wanting to just drop in can buy entry tickets only for £7 and buy pizza tokens on the day.
Running from 2-10pm, the Bristol Pizza, Beer & Fizz Festival will be the ultimate family friendly foodie day out including local DJs. There’ll also be plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for those wanting to get stuck into the food.
Foozie founder and Bristol food and drink fanatic Thom Whitchurch said of the event:
“We’re pulling out all of the stops for Foozie’s first all day festival by bringing together the ultimate foodie and boozie trio: pizza, beer and fizz. We can’t wait to crank up the tunes, tuck into a slice and get stuck into a few beers. It’s going to be great!”
Tickets to the Bristol Pizza Beer & Fizz Festival can be bought online at www.foozie.co.uk.
